Don Peters Construction, Inc. was chosen as the runner-up (or Honorable Mention) in the Industrial category for the 2009 Steel Joist Institute Design Awards. The project that we were nominated for was the Allen Canning Overbuild in Van Buren, AR; it was roughly a $16 million dollar job. The project that beat ours was a $4 billion dollar project for ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA in Alabama.
